At Wilston Kids Care, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for all children. Central to this is our focus on cultural safety, recognising, respecting and celebrating the diverse cultural identities of the children and families in our community.  The safety and wellbeing of children is paramount in everything we do. Our policies and practices are guided by the Child Safe Standards, ensuring that children’s rights, voices and wellbeing are embedded across all aspects of our service.

To help families access valuable information, we have linked resources from NAPCAN below, the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. These resources provide practical guidance on supporting children, understanding their rights, and keeping them safe in everyday life.

Why this matters:

  • It gives families trusted information to support children’s safety and wellbeing

  • Strengthens community awareness and shared responsibility

  • Supports our work at Wilston Kids Care to uphold the rights and safety of all children

Through our policies, daily practices and interactions, we strive to foster a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all children can participate fully, feel a strong sense of belonging, and know that their safety and wellbeing are always our highest priority. We encourage all families to explore these resources in depth and use them as a guide to safeguard and empower children in our community. Together, we can make a positive difference!
