P&C Meetings

P&C General meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00pm in ‘D’ Block, during the school year (term time).

Attendees at the meetings include parents, teachers, administration staff and Principals.

A broad range of content is discussed, reviewed, presented and/or voted on in the P&C Meetings.

According to the P&C rules, memberships must be received and accepted at a prior meeting before you are able to vote.

Being a member of the P&C doesn’t mean you need to come along to every meeting or volunteer for anything that you don’t want to do.

P&C membership must be renewed each year.

Annual General Meeting

15 February 2024

Our P&C AGM for 2024 will be held on 15 February at 7pm in D Block.

At the AGM, the executive comprising the P&C President, Treasurer, Vice-President/s and Secretary are elected/re-elected.

Any P&C member is entitled to nominate for an executive position and newcomers are always welcome.

The nomination form can be found here and emailed to secretary@wilstonpandc.org.au before the AGM.

* P&Cs are required to hold their Annual General Meeting by the end of March every year. The P&C Secretary must provide at least 14 days’ notice of when and where the meeting is to be held. The date for the AGM should be determined at the last general meeting of the financial year.

The AGM is held so that the P&C Association can:

  • receive and adopt the associations’ audited financial statements

  • report activities of the previous year to the members

  • accept new and renew existing memberships for the association

  • elect an executive committee

  • confirm continuance of existing subcommittees and/or establish new subcommittees

  • appoint an auditor for the coming financial year

  • adopt the Student Protection Risk Management Strategy

  • adopt a new version of the Constitution if needed

  • award life membership to the P&C – if any.
