Annual General Meeting
At an Annual General Meeting (AGM), the executive comprising the P&C President, Treasurer, Vice-President/s and Secretary are elected/re-elected. Any P&C member is entitled to nominate for an executive position and newcomers are always welcome.
The nomination form can be found here and emailed to secretary@wilstonpandc.org.au before the AGM.
P&Cs are required to hold their AGM by the end of March every year. The P&C Secretary must provide at least 14 days’ notice of when and where the meeting is to be held. The AGM is held so that the P&C Association can:
-
receive and adopt the associations’ audited financial statements
-
report activities of the previous year to the members
-
accept new and renew existing memberships for the association
-
elect an executive committee
-
confirm continuance of existing subcommittees and/or establish new subcommittees
-
appoint an auditor for the coming financial year
-
adopt the Student Protection Risk Management Strategy
-
adopt a new version of the Constitution if needed
-
award life membership to the P&C – if any.
2026 AGM - Thursday, 19 February 2026
Our P&C AGM for 2026 was held on the 19th
February at 7pm in D Block. Thank you to so many
of our community attending the AGM. It was great to
see so many of our school community at the AGM
and first meeting of the year. We are happy to be
able to introduce the 2026 Executive Committee:
-
President: Sonya Hutchines
-
Secretary: Alissa Gordon
-
Treasurer: Rory O'Sullivan
-
Vice-President: Jonathon Levey
With three of the four executives returning from the
2025 team, we are looking forward to continuing the
good work that our P&C delivered for our community
last year.
Your P&C has a big program of work for the next
twelve months and we're excited to get started. Keep
an eye out for updates on activities and events, and
come along to the monthly meetings if you can make
it, we'd love to see you there. Reach out to any of the
team and say hello if you see us around school.
