Important - Families wanting to book Before and After School Care this week only

Dear Families,

Further to my email sent to all families on Thursday 26 March 2020, we wanted to clarify some important information. We noticed this morning some families said they didn’t receive this important email. We use the same email address system that your weekly statements go to, so we suggest you check your junk mail in case it went there. All emails are showing in our system that they have sent successfully. This email is very important as it details the booking procedure for this week only.

Just to clarity, if you need bookings this week YOU MUST book via the My Family Lounge App by clicking on Before School Care and/or After School Care depending on your needs. We need to know how many children to expect each session so we can try to determine our roster accordingly. This information is critical, so we can determine how many staff will need to be sent home or contacted not to come in at all and exactly how many staff we need to look after the children expected to arrive.

If you book this week (only)and don’t turn up, you must mark your child as absent to ensure accurate record keeping. You will still be charged your parent gap fee as we are using these numbers to determine our actual roster for this week only. All attendance information like any other week is sent directly to the Government so Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can be paid to offset the fees charged.

The families we are not charging as per my email last Thursday, are the ones who normally have a permanent booking and have been forced by the Government to keep their children home this week as they do not meet the essential worker criteria as set by the government.

Next week, we return to normal Vacation Care for a two-week period where there are NO restrictions, and anyone can come along and book in to attend. We still have significant numbers of children attending so hopefully we can give our staff some more hours to keep them going over the next two weeks.
