P&C Update - 18th Sept 2026

We've reached spring holidays, and it has been a busy 10 weeks.  Thank you to all families for continuing to support our events and getting involved in discussions, volunteering and participating in your children's school community.  It's been wonderful to see so many parents keeping our P&C and school community so engaged and vibrant. 

 We are excited about the fun that Term 4 will bring to all our students, families and community members, and look forward to seeing everyone next term. 

Save the date: WSS P&C Colour Run!

Get ready for a colourful afternoon of messy fun! The WSS P&C Colour Run will take over the school oval on Friday afternoon, 23 October 2026.

All participating students will complete the course with their class, tackling colour stations, obstacles and water activities. 

For the first time, the P&C will coordinating this spectacular afternoon event, and the community will retain all funds raised to invest in our school grounds. 

Minimum sponsorship per child is $10 and includes participation in the Colour Run, protective glasses to keep and a Zooper Dooper at the finish line. Additional fundraising to the entry sponsorship is optional, but we are fundraising for a great cause - a new outdoor learning and integrated play space for Primrose Street!  

Tickets will be on sale through Munch Monitor on Tuesday 6 October until Friday 16 October.

Winter Uniform Order Form - yes already!

Hard to believe, but it’s true! While summer is only just around the corner, it’s now time to start thinking about winter uniforms for 2027.

Our Uniform Shop needs to place its order for Winter Uniform items at the end of October. As these items are not held in surplus stock, families who require winter uniform items for next year need to pre-order now.

Orders must be received by Friday 30 October 2026 to ensure your child’s items are available in 2027.

The good news? No payment is required now. Payment will only be required when your order arrives in 2027.

WSS P&C - Christmas Under the Stars

Get ready to celebrate the festive season with our WSS Christmas Under the Stars on Saturday 28 November!Join us to celebrate the festive season with a picnic, carols and, a special movie screening! Families are welcome to BYO picnic rugs and snacks, or enjoy delicious options from the BBQ, canteen, and cash bar.

Tickets will be available on Munch Monitor early in Term 4.Helpers needed - we’re looking for volunteers to help manage some sections and stalls.
