P&C Update - 12th June 2026

Trivia wrap up 

Thank you to so many in our community for coming along to Trivia 2026. It was 'Aussie-as' and full of good hearted larrakin fun! The trivia organising team was thrilled with the participation from decorations, costuming, red carpet confidence and of course, answering tricky trivia questions!  While there was some steep competition across all prize categories, we could award only one winner in each, as voted by the people.

They were:

Best individual costume: Leigh R, Mad Max

Best red carpet performance: Mad Max 

Best trivia result:  Mad Max 

Best table theming: Aerobics Oz Style 

Last table standing:  Mad Max 

It was the night of nights for the Mad Max team! 

Thanks go to our judging panel for taking time out of their Saturday afternoons for this tricky challenge - Cr Andrew Wines, Mr Glen O'Halloran and Mr Sam Hall. We appreciated your thoughtfulness in reaching your decision.  Honourable mentions from the judging panel went to Swoop Season, Great Barrier Reef, Things that will kill you, and Australian Open.  

The P&C sends huge congratulations to the organising committee for the focus, effort and energy to deliver such a fun night for our parent community:

Aroha, Karen, Grace, Sarah and Pat (ahem, Dame Edna).  

All 14 raffle prize winners were advised of their win on the night, and we remind all winners to collect their prize envelopes from the school office. Thank you for joining our fundraising efforts and congratulations on your win! 

Fundraising progress

The P&C is happy to report back to our school community the current fundraising tally as we approach the end of Term 2.  We've had some big events this semester that have contributed to the current total, including our bumper Easter Raffle, Mothers' Day Stall, Trivia and School Disco. Thank you to all of our community members for participating in our events, raffles and fundraising ventures, and our appreciation goes to all volunteers and event convenors for your part in supporting these efforts. 

General meeting - wine and cheese

Our next General Meeting will be Thursday 18 June at 7:00pm, D Block. As this is the last meeting of term it is also our quarterly wine and cheese networking mixer evening, starting at 6:30pm before the General Meeting starts. You do not need to be a member to attend the meetings.
