P&C Update - 20th March 2026

The P&C meeting on 19 March was a wonderful opportunity to connect with our school community with some tasty refreshments. Thanks to those who were able to join us in person or online. We had a great turnout, welcoming some new faces and a couple of our specialist staff to the discussion. 

We talked through agenda items including two contributions to universal social/emotional toolkits for all classrooms, curriculum support materials and how these valuable additions promote the learning and engagement goals for students to increase independence and connection. These two contributions were unopposed. Thank you to the school HOSES, Callum Crocker, and HODC, Beth Cooper, for attending our meeting to provide our parents with the background and purpose for these classroom items before the vote. 

We also provided a brief overview of our P&C's long-term financial holdings and took a vote to diversify our current passive investments to growth-focused products. A progress update will be given at our next General Meeting on Thursday 21 May. 

A final reminder to keep the easter raffle items coming! One more week to go - all Easter themed donations are welcome and can be dropped to our Tuckshop team or Wilston Kids Care until next Friday 27 March. Have your bought your raffle tickets yet? They'll be online until Thursday 26 March, make sure to grab your entries and purchase them against your child's Munch Monitor profile to make sure each child's name is in the draw! Thank you Georgia Crouch for putting this together for us again this year. 

Finally, the one everyone has been waiting for... our annual Trivia Night has been scheduled for 30 May 2026!  There are a few small tasks remaining that will ensure an excellent night out for our parents and another significant boost to our fundraising goals.
