Term 1 Wrap-Up

As we take a quick look backwards through Term 1, we'd like to recognise the Easter Raffle that was... a hugely successful event with many, many happy prize winners! After 20 years, this annual raffle is a highlight for the students, and we couldn't do it without community support in the volume of donations generously gifted and parent volunteerism. Thank you Georgia for coordinating this for Wilston's kids, it was magnificent.

Our ongoing thanks go always to our families and community supporters for all the behind-the-scenes activity, volunteering and contributions we've watched at work in Term 1. It's been truly wonderful to see our families re-engage in the new school year, and we are looking forward to the incredible opportunities coming up now we are back from the holidays. It's going to be a busy term!

Term 2 Beings

Trivia Night

You may have seen some trivia info starting to leak out ahead of the holidays!  We are very excited that this event is full-steam ahead, and wish to thank our joint event convenors - Grace, Aroha, Sarah, Karen and Patrick. It seems our community use the holiday period wisely - planning themes, corralling table teams and getting ready to jump on the ticket sales - table tickets sold out in 7 minutes flat!

Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 Playdates

Our playdates will once again be on for our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 families. These are wonderful afternoon opportunities for play and to connect with your class groups and old kindy friends. Mark your diaries and don't miss it - we will be hosting only one afternoon playdate on our oval per grade this year - Prep families: 26 April, Year 1: 17 May, Year 2: 7 June.

Mother's Day Stall

We are also gearing up for an epic Mother's Day stall this year - thanks to Natasha and Katie, our new event convenors for 2026 - who are getting a lot of lovely things ready for the kids to do some very special shopping in week 3.
